Happy Tuesday to everyone! Over the weekend, I was pretty much a bum. I stayed in my pajamas all day Sunday and yesterday. I don’t do this sort of thing all the time, but I feel everyone needs some downtime. Did I mention that my downtime usually includes cleaning out something or reorganizing? Very rarely am I ever a complete couch potato. I am always doing laundry or something in the cleaning family. Well, this Sunday, I was in the middle of fixing my daughter lunch when a new project popped in my head. My turn-about had gotten so piled up with kitchen utensils & gadgets that it was almost impossible to open it without something barrelling out. And, my pots & pans cabinet was just not functional. My pots were piled on top of each other and I would get upset every time I needed to take something out. When I did have to complete this task, it would end up sounding like cymbals and drums clashing all over the place. And, let me add that it isn’t fun when your daughter finally decides to take a nap and the pots & pans band starts up. So, I decided it was time for a switch.
I actually took this picture on a good day. But, you can’t even tell what pots I have.
It got so bad that I just started piling things on top of each other. I couldn’t
even tell you what I had in this cabinet.
Much better! And, I think it is going to be a lot easier to get to certain pots &
pans. I stacked skillets together, small pots, large pots, etc. Then, I placed all the lids on
top and my large set of stainless steel mixing bowls.
I can actually see and reach things in the back of the cabinet now!
Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference!
