Welcome to my Binders 101 series. For the next couple of months, I will be taking you through the binders that I am putting together for my household. I did this series a couple of years ago, but then we moved, and my binders are now outdated. Plus, when I dropped my external hard drive off the counter in 2014, I lost all of the documents I used for my original projects. So, I am redoing them and creating new cover sheets for each one.
In today’s post, I want to introduce you to the series. I will explain which binders I will cover, the weeks I will cover them, and the actual binders I will be using for each.
For this series, I will be using the Better Binders from Staples. I purchased them in different colors and sizes and I will explain each under the descriptions below.
Week #1: Home
Week of January 11 – 15
For my Home binder, I will be using a yellow 2″ binder.
Week #2: Medical
Week of January 18 – 22
For my Medical binder, I will be using a white 1″ binder.
Week #3: Taxes
Week of February 1 – 5 (skipping a week)
For my Taxes binder, I will be using an orange 2″ binder.
Week #4: Recipes
Week of February 8 – 12
For my Recipes binder, I will be using a navy blue 2″ binder.
Week #5: Personal
Week of February 15 – 19
For my Personal binder, I will be using a 1″ teal binder.
Week 6: Emergency
Week of February 29 – March 4 (skipping a week)
For my Emergency binder, I will be using a 3″ red binder.
In addition to the binders, I will share the cover sheet I am using each week. So, you will be able to click on the Google Doc button and print it out for your binder.
Today, I am sharing the blank cover sheet in case you want to go ahead and print it out. Some people may choose to fill out their cover sheet and I wanted that option to be available too.

I hope y’all are as excited about this series as I am. I can’t wait to get started next week with the Home binder.
