For the past several months, I have been racking my brain trying to come up with a solution for the massive pile of books both of my children have accumulated. I even did a Friday Inspiration post on the topic.
I wanted something that was durable, versatile, visually attractive, not too expensive (remember, I had to purchase two of them), and didn’t take up a lot of space.
I do not have an Ikea near my home (insert frown), so I had to order them online. Each unit cost $49.99 and shipping was $22.00. Normally, I would NEVER pay that much to ship something to me. But, considering the awesome price I got, I thought I could pay a little more on shipping. When looking at all other alternatives, this one was a fraction of the cost of the others.
And, the assembly was simple too!
My favorite part about these carts is that they are extremely versatile. They are sold as kitchen carts, but after scouring Pinterest, I have seen them used as craft carts, photo carts, DVD libraries, knitting stations, and many many other things.
So, if my kiddos outgrow the carts, I know I can find a different use for them.
