Welcome to Week 6 of my Creating an Emergency Binder series. Today, we will be finishing our personal documents and placing them in our binders. This is the second post on the personal documents section, so make sure you check out part one too. If you missed any of the previous posts, check out the links below:
The second part of this section will include the following documents:
- Evacuation Information
*Family Emergency Evacuation Plan
*First Aid Kit contents and location
*72 Hour Kit contents and location
Now, take note: This section will not be completely finished until after we create the Emergency Station in our home. I wanted to go ahead and give you a preview of the information, but note that we will have to revisit this section after our Emergency Station is in place.
I will provide you with a list of my first aid contents and 72 hour kit contents. All you will have to do is print them out and add the additional supplies and information that is specific to your family’s needs.
So, today, we will just look at our family emergency evacuation plan. This is something that I have put on the back burner for some time now. It is important to have a plan in place in case something serious happens. And, it is vital that every family member knows the details of the plan.
