Last night was Holly’s last night at our house for the year. So, Kate was super excited to get up this morning to see what Holly had done or left for her. I am not really sure Kate understood the present Holly had left, but she will definitely understand tonight as we prepare for Santa’s visit.
The note on the right is from Holly to Kate.
The note on the left is the one that Kate will leave for Santa with the key.
This is the key and note that Kate has to leave for Santa on the front porch,
so he knows how to get in the house.
It is the night before Christmas and I can’t wait to see
All of the presents and gifts that you have left under the tree.
I have been a good girl, used my manners, and even shared my toys.
My mom and dad have been watching with excitement, enthusiasm, and a lot of joy.
Our home does not have a fireplace, chimney, or hole in the roof.
So, we are leaving you this special key to open the doors, but watch out for the Woof.
Our little dog, Armani, tries to act big and brave, but he is really very friendly.
Just ignore his barking and whining, and proceed with your busy itinerary.
Don’t forget to look in the kitchen for cookies and milk that we left out for you.
We know you have to be hungry and thirsty too.
Love ~ Kate
(I wrote this too!)
Stay tuned to see Holly’s last post, which will be her grand exit. *TEAR*
