Welcome to my February Favorite Things post! I have included a variety of favorites this month as well as a little giveaway. Toddy Gear contacted me and wanted me to review one of their items and I jumped at the opportunity. And, they are giving y’all a chance to win one of them as well.
The Wedge by Toddy Gear
I was first introduced to Toddy Gear from Jen at Pretty Neat Living. I watched one of her Christmas gift guide videos and she talked about these amazing tech products. Well, I immediately knew I wanted the Wedge, which is a cushioned mobile device stand that acts as a screen cleaner as well. So, I asked for my husband to get me one for Christmas. I love the colors, the quality, how adorable the fabric is, and how it holds my phone when I want to be hands free.
Toddy Gear was so sweet that they offered to send me the Tech Pack to review, which was pretty amazing because I bought my husband one for Christmas and really wanted one myself.

Shining Stars Boutique Planner Clips
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have an obsession with planner clips. I purchased my first set a couple of months ago and now, I have a nice collection. I have ones that are related to planning, holidays, my favorite things, and my daughter even has a collection. By far, my favorite clips come from Shining Stars Boutique. It seems like every time there is a restock, I feel I need to add to my collection. Jessica makes the cutest clips and they are amazing quality.
You are probably thinking I am saying scrapbook paper for decorating purposes, but I am actually not. I have actually started using the 12×12 scrapbook paper pages as backgrounds for my pictures. My two absolute favorite paper pads at the moment to use for this purpose are the Maggie Holmes Styleboard and Dear Lizzy Fine and Dandy.
And, I wanted to share a few examples of these scrapbook papers used as backgrounds.
Erin Condren Acrylic Boxes
I must say, this purchase was on a whim. I was selected as one of the #ECFanFriday winners one week in the fall of 2015, which meant I received a $50 gift code. So, I wanted to make sure I got something pretty awesome. I saw someone on Instagram post a picture of their acrylic box with washi tape contained inside. So, I picked out a cute picture online that I wanted to use as my image for the top of the box and placed my order.
And, I love it so much that I just recently ordered a second one. Right now, I have washi tape in both of them, but I will be making a switch pretty soon. I ordered an acrylic drawer organizer for my washi. So, stay tuned to see how I decide to use my Erin Condren acrylic boxes.
Now, to my lifestyle favorites…
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
I have very dry skin and I have tried many different facial lotions. Some have been good and others have left my face feeling like an oily mess. I want my skin to feel hydrated, but I don’t want it to feel like I have poured Crisco all over it.
About a month ago, I was searching QVC for facial lotion. I decided to try that site first because normally they have the live broadcasts taped, so you can watch them. I like to see the demonstrations and see what they have to say about products they sell. Then, of course, I wanted to read the reviews.
I have heard nothing but awesome things about the First Aid Beauty brand, but I had never tried any of their products myself. That is until I saw their Ultra Repair Cream in the super size. You could get two 14 oz. jars of the cream for $49.90 and the reviews were awesome. I even checked different sites like Sephora and Ulta to see what their reviews said. So, I decided to make the purchase.
I have been using it for about a month now and I really like it. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, even at the end of the day, but it doesn’t leave my face feeling oily. Definitely, a thumbs up in my book!
American Eagle Artist Jeans
It has taken me a long time to find jeans that work for me. I can’t run out and purchase jeans in a store because I have to purchase a size Tall in all of my pants. And, sometimes, I will purchase a Tall, wash them, and they shrink up to look like a Petite size.
The American Eagle Artist jeans are some of my favorite jeans. I like the quality, style, length, and you can get them for a great price. I always ask for jeans for Christmas. I am a huge jeans fan, I could wear them 365 days a year, but I don’t tend to purchase them for myself.
If you shop at the right time, you can get them Buy One Get One 1/2 Half Off plus an additional 20% off. I always watch for these sales when looking for them for my mom to purchase. Even though they are gifts, I want my mom to get the best price. This year, she got me 4 pairs for under $90.00 and that is with shipping. I thought that was an excellent deal.
Don’t forget to enter using the Rafflecopter below. I will choose one winner. Open internationally! Must be 18 years of age to enter!
