Lately, it seems like I love to add more things to my plate. I don’t know why, but I have an issue with sitting idle for too long. If I am at home and I absolutely have nothing to do, then I will straighten up something or do some laundry. Crazy, right?!?! I know, but I always feel like there is something to be done. I guess that is why I have gotten asked the question, “How do I balance it all?” a lot lately. And, I thought it would make the perfect blog post to get this hectic week started.
So, here is my list of ways I balance it all…
What can I say? My husband and family help me out. My husband doesn’t get upset if I stop in the middle of a Target aisle, pull out my camera, and take a random picture of something. Actually, I think he has gotten used to it because he doesn’t even flinch. At first, I think he felt I was a little crazy, but now, he is actually one of my blog followers through email. : )
On another note, my husband takes care of my 3-year-old when I am in the middle of editing photos or writing a post. He is a big help when it comes to caring for our little one. We try to share the duties, which I greatly appreciate.
I know it seems like there is never enough time in the day to get everything done. It seems like I get off work, eat, and then it is time to go to bed and do it all over again the next day. But, I have to devote time to blogging, so I squeeze it in. Devoting time goes hand-in-hand with making it part of my daily routine. After I get off work, cook supper, do some household chores, and take care of my daughter, I sit down and get my next day’s post ready. Usually, this happens around 8:00 pm. It is a great way for me to unwind from the day too.
