It seems like budgets keeping getting tighter and tighter these days… Or, ours is at least. So, my husband and I attempt to save every penny possible every month. When you think of “pinching pennies,” I am sure the first thing that pops in your head involves coupons. Well, let me be honest, I AM NOT an extreme coupon clipper!!! I have tried really hard to understand the coupon system, but I just don’t have the time to be successful. That is seriously a full-time job. Finding the coupons, cutting them out, determining what days of the week certain items go on sale, spending extra time to shop, and the list goes on and on. I do not have a lot of extra time, the nearest Kroger is 20 minutes away, and I just don’t have the mental energy to keep up with it.
So, we have looked at other ways to save a few pennies…
I figure there are several ways that we cut costs in a given month, so I plan on doing several posts on the topic. This will be part 1!
Once we had our second child, we realized that our budget had gotten A LOT tighter. The additional insurance alone was a big strain on our budget. So, my husband started calling some of the companies that we do business with monthly: AT&T, DirecTv, etc. to see what deals or promotions we qualified to receive.
