Happy Thursday, everyone! Over the past couple of months, I have gotten a lot of interest in how I meal plan and grocery shop for my family. So, I decided to share my simple process.
If you have followed my blog for awhile, you have probably seen several grocery list printables that I have created. Each time I create one, I will use it, then tweak it. Well, I have tweaked it again. This time, instead of having blank lines down an entire side of the page for all of my grocery items, I decided to break it up into the different sections of a grocery store.
This decision came about because I was tired of forgetting something in one area of the store, then having to go all the way back to get it. Sometimes, I would be across Wal-Mart and have to speed walk across the store (due to frozen food already in my basket).
When I plan for my meals, I write the menu items at the bottom of each day in my Erin Condren life planner.
Next, I fill out the weekly meal planner printable that I created. I will fill out the breakfast items first, then follow with lunch, household products, and the groceries I need for each dinner menu item.

So far, this process has been working well for me. I will definitely let you know if my strategy changes.
