While creating some of the printables I plan on sharing in the next couple of weeks, I realized I have a list of “go-to” fonts. There are certain fonts that I like to use for printables. Different ones I enjoy using on blog post headings. And, ones that I use on everything because they scream, “happy!”
I am sure you have noticed that I now create an intro graphic for almost all of my blog posts. There are several reasons why.
- They make good thumbnails on google reading lists.
- I think they draw more interest to my posts.
- I am an individual that likes a beginning, middle, and end to things. A graphic makes a great beginning.
- Honestly, I LOVE creating graphics. This blog is my way of exercising my love for graphic design.
When I first started this blog, I had no clue about fonts. I didn’t know what Websites to use to download free ones and I certainly couldn’t look at one and immediately know the name. I must say, I am getting better at my knowledge of fonts. And, I have grown pretty fond of them.
Every once in awhile, I will find a new one to add to my list of favorites. But, I seem to always keep the old ones. I guess they have a special place in my heart (insert smile).
