A couple of months ago, I purchased a FoxyDori from The Foxy Fix on Etsy. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what I was going to use the little beauty for, but I knew I would find a use. Then, I started thinking about my wallet and how it just wasn’t working for me.
In the past year, I have tried several different options for storing wallet type of essentials in my purse. When I carry a traditional wallet, it ends up a complete mess with my cards stacked on top of each other, receipts in my coin department, and my checkbook completely removed.
So, I decided to try using my FoxyDori as a wallet.
For the past two weeks, I have slowly been transitioning from my wallet to my FoxyDori and I wanted to share the results with y’all.
When you purchase a FoxyDori from The Foxy Fix, you have 3 options for interior bands: one, two, or four. I knew I wasn’t going to be packing mine full of items, so two bands were plenty for me.
We will start with the left elastic band inside.
The left elastic holds my Midori brand card holder, checklist insert (see my post below about decorating my FoxyDori inserts), and my receipt folder.
Midori Card Holder
The card holder houses all of my daily essential cards: driver’s license, insurance cards, debit card, etc.
I purchased a traveler’s notebook folder from Bliss Bag Boutique on etsy. I am using it to store my daily receipts.
And, I love that the scrapbook paper used to make the folder is double sided. The inside is just as cute as the outside.
I use my checklist insert to record blog and YouTube ideas. Then, when I make the video or blog post, I check the box on the right or left of the page.
And, the backside of my card holder…
Midori Zippered Pocket
The zippered pocket has two sides. The front is just a sleeve with two slits, one on each side. I am using that side for my cash. Normally, I do not carry cash with me, but when I do, it will all have a home.
The spending tracker will allow me to keep up with how much I have left of my personal and blog/house budget each pay period. This will be my first month using it.
Favorite Things Booklet
My Favorite Things insert is where I record all of my favorite things each month that I share with y’all. It will be an easy way for me to look back and reference the items I have already talked about on this blog.
And, that is all for my FoxyDori wallet setup. Don’t forget to watch my YouTube video below where I walk through the entire notebook.
Please Subscribe if you haven’t already! I would greatly appreciate it. 🙂
