I am gradually getting everything switched over from The OCD Life to The Gold Project. Every time I think I have everything taken care of, a new task pops up. Before I changed my name, I had just purchased business cards with all of my information on it. Yeah! If you are thinking what I am thinking, then you realize I wasted some money on that one. I didn’t use many of them and had to throw them out because all of my information had changed. A new blog name and URL meant a new business card was needed!
Honestly, I have no idea what I need to use these little bad boys for, but I want to have them just in case. I carry them in my purse in case I need to pull one out and hand to someone. Maybe one day I will get the opportunity to attend a blog conference or two and these will definitely be needed then.
But, I never miss an opportunity to get my creative juices flowing and they were definitely needed in this case. I could’ve paid someone to create a new business card for me, but I was highly capable of doing it myself. It just took some thinking and note taking. I wanted to make sure I included everything, but it wasn’t too much that no one wanted to look at it.
Last time around I used Vista Print for my printing. This time, I decided to go a different way and use Moo. I had seen where several bloggers had used this company, so I decided to try them out. And, I was definitely not disappointed. I love the glossy and slick look of my new cards.
I used Microsoft Publisher to create my business card. Then, I saved it as a pdf and uploaded it to the Moo design setup.
And, here is what I came up with…
I purchased a cute custom made business card holder from Baffin Bags on Etsy.
