This time last year (actually the exact day one year ago), at our old house, I shared my office craft corner with you guys.
I loved it then and still love it now. But, since we moved, I had to come up with a different system because our rooms were not the same. Overall, the appearance is the same, but the details have changed a lot.
Plus, when I shared that post, the cabinets were a complete mess inside. And, I never did get them organized. I couldn’t find a system that worked and I kept getting frustrated.
Maybe all I needed was a new environment because now, they are organized and fully utilized.
Without further ado, here is my current office craft nook…
The “CREATE” letters above the area came from Hobby Lobby. I purchased them when they were 50% off and applied a coat of gold spray paint.
The pegboard has basically the same setup as in our previous home, but some of the items hanging on it have changed. All of the source information can be found at the bottom of this post. 🙂
On the craft nook counter, I placed a pencil sharpener, paper organizer, pink tin from Target that holds my glue guns and staple gun, and a Kirkland’s 3-tier basket organizer that holds paints, glues, and glitter. In addition, it holds paint brushes, measuring tape, and a few empty mason jars.
The left drawer contains pencils, pens, markers, highlighters, and a pencil sharpener. All of these items are divided out into three white baskets that I purchased at Wal-Mart in the kitchen section for $1.00.
I call my middle drawer my miscellaneous drawer. It contains old labels, index cards, a magnifying glass, tape, among others things.
The right drawer contains all of my small office supplies (staples, paper clips, binder clips, etc.) that are housed in mason jars.
And, last but not least, we have the three cabinets at the bottom of the unit.
The left cabinet has 3 Sterilite drawer organizers stacked on top of each other and contain camera accessories (top drawer), mini Happy Everything attachments (middle drawer), and large Happy Everything attachments (bottom drawer).
The middle cabinet holds chipboard letters, my new greeting card organizers, glues, more paint brushes, and some acrylic sealer.
The right cabinet holds all of my office type of supplies:
- printer paper
- laminating sheets
- sheet protectors
