If you remember Kate’s closet reveal a couple of years ago, you will remember seeing a cart in the right corner of her closet.
The cart had puzzles, coloring books, winter accessories, play jewelry, and headbands in it. It was great at the time, but it started getting in the way. So, I ordered Kate a few extra storage bins when I ordered extras for her brother’s closet. New storage bins meant the original purpose of the cart had expired. All of the contents in the cart went into the bins.
So, I pulled the cart out, reorganized Kate’s closet, and tried to determine a new need for the storage piece. Have I mentioned that I absolutely love the cart! I purchased it when I first went to college in 2000. It has been to many homes with me and still looks brand new. Great storage, durable, and it has wheels. So, I knew it had to go somewhere.
Then, I had a light bulb moment… The office!!!
I had a small space beside my bookcase and I desperately needed some extra storage for printer paper and a few extra things. So, the cart found a new home.
Much better, but something was definitely missing… LABELS! Using the steps I discussed in my “How to Make Laminated Labels” post, I made a label for each drawer (six in total).
And, the contents of the drawers include:
