Until a few years ago, my photos were a complete mess. I had some in albums, some in their Wal-Mart paper cases, some loose, and all of them were kept in a Sterilite tub.
Every time I needed to find a picture, I had to dig through this tub and hope I could find what I was looking for after a lot of searching. Then, I decided to whip this box and it’s contents into shape.
First, I divided the pictures into 3 categories:
Now, I know that not every picture falls into these three categories, but I placed the photos where they fit. For example, if a picture was too big for the 5×7 storage, then it went in the 8×10 storage.
I purchased 3 containers:
The red and white striped box came from Michael’s. It is a Recollections Memory Box. The green and white box came from JoAnn Fabrics. I do not think they sell this one anymore. I have been using it for over 3 years. It is a Craftologie Scrapbook Storage Box.
The little plastic container on the right comes in a set. It is part of the Iris Large Photo Keeper set that I purchased through JoAnn Fabrics. Make sure if you look and it isn’t on sale, wait because they go on sale often.
Check out how I have all 3 containers put together on today’s video. I hope you watch, enjoy, and subscribe! 🙂
