I like to watch what they call “hauls” on YouTube, but I am a little hesitant about making them on my channel. I don’t want to come across as , “Hey, I bought all of this stuff and I can’t wait to brag about it.” I would rather show y’all how I am using the products in my home. But, all of the items I purchased have the same purpose and they are used for the same thing: my planner.
Since I have started decorating my planner, I am taking more interest in purchasing cute decorating supplies. I plan to use these items in my Erin Condren Life Planner as well as the #listersgottalist challenge through The Reset Girl and in my FoxyDori.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know what I am talking about when I say FoxyDori. It is basically a faux Midori traveler’s notebook that I purchased through The Foxy Fix on etsy. I plan to share my setup and insert decorating once I get all of my supplies in.
For this haul, I purchased products from two different companies. The first company I purchased from was Peachy Cheap. Peachy Cheap is an online discount Website that offers daily deals on scrapbooking supplies. I was introduced to this site a couple of weeks ago and now I am obsessed with it. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
Last week, they offered a set of 5 Heidi Swapp mini stamp sets. From my understanding, each set usually costs around $4.00 each. I got the entire set for $8.99 plus shipping. I can’t wait to use them too.
The other planner supplies came from JoAnn.
The first thing I purchased was a set of Amy Tangerine Plus One scrapbook paper. Honestly, until recently, I didn’t know anything about scrapbook paper. I would purchase the cheapest set when I was searching for some. Then, I realized that not all scrapbook paper is created equal. So, I decided to purchase my first set of good quality scrapbook paper. This will be the first of many.
I plan on using some of my favorite pieces from this set on the inserts in my FoxyDori. I will have videos and blog posts on that in the near future.
Next, I added a few VersaMagic Dew Drops to my collection: Sea Breeze and Cloud White. And, I decided to try the ColorBox. A lot of scrapbookers and planners do not like the ColorBox. They prefer the VersaMagic Dew Drops. I liked the bright colors in this set, so I thought I would give it a shot. I will let you know if I like them as much after I put them to use.
Last, but not least, I added some new washi tape to my collection. I just started buying washi tape, so my collection is a little bare at the moment.
The reviews of the JoAnn washi tape wasn’t very good, so I am hoping I have a better experience than others. I will definitely let you know about that one too.
And, that is all for my first planner supplies haul. I hope you liked the products that I purchased and I can’t wait to share how I am using them all.
Please, check out the haul video I created too and if you haven’t, please Subscribe to my YouTube channel. I would greatly appreciate it.
