A couple of weeks ago, I was attempting to print my second round of photos from my Polaroid Zip, when I noticed a change in the app. I usually print photos for my weekly spread on Wednesday and Sunday. When I used the app on Wednesday, I didn’t have any problems at all. Then, Sunday, the entire app had changed. Instead of using the same app for both the Polarid Zip and SnapTouch, they both had apps. So, I had to download the new Zip app and try to figure out what was going on with it.
Let me say that I was not happy when they switched the original app over to the new update at the end of last year, I think. But, I finally stopped complaining and got used to it. Now, they have done it again.
The previous app is now for only the SnapTouch and if you print from it on your Zip, you will have small photos and a lot of white space on the edges of the paper.
When I used the Zip app, the photos were not wanting to be proportionate and it didn’t matter how I turned them, shrunk them, or stretched them. But, I am going to have to get used to it because I am sure it will be sticking around for awhile.
So, when I went to print off my second half of photos on Sunday, I decided to record the process for y’all. I hope this helps a little. 🙂
