A couple of months ago, I shared Kate’s bedroom before any renovations. Her room was decorated in a cowgirl or barn theme. The room had dark brown walls, wood from an actual barn nailed to the windows, and tin on a single wall. We knew when we moved in that it would be the first room that we tackled. I mean, y’all know my daughter, she is about as girly as they come. She even made the comment to me the other day that she only wears dresses now. And, she isn’t lying! She has a closet full of dresses and only owns one pair of jeans… that she has never wore.
In case you forgot the appearance of her room before, here is a little look.
We removed the wood and tin off the walls, laid laminate flooring, added a white chair rail to the middle of the walls, and painted the room pink.
And, Drumroll Please…
Here is a look at Miss. Kate’s new space. She insisted on having the walls painted pink!
The area above her desk is blank at the moment because she has some Christmas presents that include wall decor.
The coats are covering metal hooks that we plan to use for shelving and her television.
There are a few things that need to be done, like the wall shelving and rugs, but for the most part, her room is complete.
