With my new found love for planner decorating, I have accumulated a few stamps and ink sets. They were piled up in a little plastic basket on my desk until it began to overflow. So, I decided I might need to create some kind of system for them. You know me, I need a system in place for everything… even stamps.
After some thought, I decided to go with one of my favorite organizing products, an ArtBin compartment box. This time around, I did not need one that was really deep, so I went with the ArtBin Super Satchel Slim Compartment Box from Joann.
I waited until they were on sale for 50% off too.
It didn’t require many additions to make it perfect for my stamps and ink. The only task I had to complete was creating a label for the front.
I decided to use one of the cute labels that Erin Condren placed in my planner package for this task. I liked that it had my name on it in case I travel with the box and leave it somewhere.
Using my label maker, I created a label that stated “stamp and ink” to place on the personalized Erin Condren label.
I trimmed the extra tape off of the sides and applied it to the personalized label.
I wanted to add a little extra color to it, so I cut out a solid pink back using scrapbook paper.
My next step was to laminate the new label.
Then, I applied the label to the ArtBin box using a square of Velcro.
And, a look at the contents…
Keep in mind that this is just the beginning of my stamp collection. So, the extra space will definitely get used.
I placed my new stamp and ink storage box between my filing cabinet and desk in my office. It is out of the way, but easy to get to when needed.
So, how do you organize your stamps and ink? I would love to hear all about it.
