You may remember my first sticker storage post. My idea of “storage” looked like this…
Not my best storage solution ever, but it got those pesky stickers off of the floor. Once I created my office supply cart, I decided I would move the stickers to one of the drawers. I labeled a drawer and threw the stickers in there.
Once again, not my best storage solution ever, but I at least had them where I wanted them to be. Now, I had to create a system for the stickers. Being in the drawer wasn’t good enough. If Kate wanted a Doc McStuffins sticker, it would take FOREVER to find one. After some thought, I decided to purchase some poly envelopes from The Container Store when we went on our Spring Break trip.
I purchased 5 small envelopes and 2 large ones.
I took the stickers out of the drawer, threw them on my office floor, and started sorting them into categories.
At the end, I had the following categories:
- Letters/Numbers (big envelope)
- Unique (big envelope)
Then, I placed the stickers in their new pouches and labeled the front of each envelope using my label maker.
And, a look at my newly organized supply cart drawer…
