Good morning & Happy Monday! I am happy to report that I worked on my Kate and Derrick’s bathroom this weekend and I am finished with the project (You can take a look at my introduction post here.) And, here is the awesome part… It cost me less than $10.00!!! A few simple bins from Dollar Tree and Wal-Mart was all that I needed.
I decided to give Derrick and Kate their own section of the bathroom. Kate will have the left cabinet and drawer, and little Derrick will have the right cabinet and drawer. Then, the larger cabinet in the middle will be shared by both of them.
As they get older, I know they will both want their own space. So, I thought I would go ahead and give that to them now. 🙂
Before I share the results, let’s revisit the before:
Now, the after:
Now, Miss. Kate has a basket for her brushes, hair clips/bands, tootbrushes/paste, and lip glosses.
- White baskets in the drawers – Wal-Mart
(They can be found in the kitchen organization section. They came in a set of at least 2 or 3 and were less than $1.50 a set)
- White baskets in the left and right cabinets – Dollar Tree
- White tiered baskets in middle cabinet – The Container Store (I was using these in the office, but felt they were a better fit here.)
