Last night, it was a huge bake fest at my house. My sister & I started baking at 4:00 and we didn’t finish until around 9:00. She baked pretzel rods for her coworkers. I will share her recipe below… And, I baked goodies for my advisory (homeroom) students, my husband’s advisory students, my daughter’s daycare, and the staff at our school (we had a potluck breakfast and lunch today).
I made cupcakes and used a new frosting recipe that I found on Pinterest. And, I must say, it was very yummy! Not overly sweet, which I like. I will share that recipe with you below too.
3. While mixing, slowly add the vanilla and food coloring (if you decide to use food coloring).
4. Once the mixture is ready, it will peak (if you dip a utensil in the mixture, it will form a peak without falling).
5. Optional: I placed the fluff in a Ziplock bag and cut one of the tips. It is a cheap way to make a piping bag.
Happy Holiday Baking,
