Today, I am sharing my second traveling post and video. My first post covered my traveling beauty caddy. I am only sharing two posts over my recent travels because I packed almost identical to the way I traveled last year. So, I didn’t think it would be good to post almost the exact same videos as last year.
For my planner bag, I decided to go with the Erin Condren designer tote in bold bouquet. Bold bouquet has to be one of my favorite EC prints because it looks amazing in every colorway. For my tote, I went with the turquoise background color.
This will also be the tote that I use as my teacher work bag in the fall and I will have it set up almost exactly like this, so I will not be sharing a teacher work bag video this year.
I have started collecting enamel pins that represent my personality. At the moment, I have them all on my tote. But, I will probably transfer a lot of them to my new pin banner in my office.
This tote is a lot bigger than it appears. It held everything perfectly with a lot of room to spare.
This is everything that traveled inside of my tote.
Inside of my EC carry-all clutch, I had my life planner and a ruler. I always carry an EC ruler with me.
Inside of my EC planny pack, I carried the following items:
At first, I was confused by the name, planny pack. Then, I saw Erin Condren herself talk about it. They named it, “planny pack,” because it is a fanny pack for your planner.
And, I carry my Polaroid Zip everywhere I go. It is my favorite planning accessory. It has turned my planner into not only a planner, but a memory keeper as well.
And, I now have a growing collection of Pengems. I decided to take my small traveling case with some of them on vacation. They make great photography props as well as writing pens.
The funny thing is I only had a few in this case. My daughter felt I needed to fill up the case before I left, so she added more pens. She put all of her favorites in there.
And, last but not least is my sticker organizer. This is a checkbook accordion file from The Container Store. I have tried many other accordion files, but none of them compare to this one. This one allows you to fan it out without it trying to go back together.
