Welcome to part 1 of my “Watch Me Grow” project. Since my daughter officially entered preschool this year, I decided to come up with a way to save some of her priceless work and record a little bit of information about her (and how she has changed) each year.
The first step in this process was to develop a type of questionnaire that lists some of Kate’s favorite things. Of course, Kate will give me the answers to all of the questions.
To make this step easier each year, I developed a sheet in Microsoft Word (that I saved for future use) that included 21 questions and I copied and pasted a picture of her on her first day of preschool into the document. This document also contains her grade level, teacher, and school year.
Each year, I will help her fill out a new sheet about herself. When my son enters school, I will do the same thing for him.
Below is a copy of the blank sheet and one filled out with Kate’s responses.
