We have finally come to the end of the road on this project. Anyone else have the Boyz II Men song just pop in their head?!?! I was a pretty big Boyz II Men fan in middle school and high school. And, that is an awesome song, I might add. But, it has nothing to do with this, so back on task.
Let’s take a look at what we have created already.
On my first post, which was in September (Yikes! I can’t believe it has taken me that long to complete this project), I shared my daughter’s favorites list. Remember, I plan on completing one of these sheets each year my children are in school.
Next, I created a list of file boxes that I was eyeing to use.
After a lot of thought about durability, prices, and creativity, I decided to purchase the Sterilite letter file box from Wal-Mart for $5.98.
Next, I created file labels for the file folders for each box. If you click on the post, you can download and use these labels for your Watch Me Grow box too. I created female and male versions of the labels.
And, that is where I left off in December.
Today, we are going to wrap everything up into a nice package.
For the file folders, I chose green and purple Universal file folders that my mother-in-law provided me with, but you can purchase them at Wal-Mart online. I went to several Wal-Mart and Target stores and couldn’t find what I was wanting, so I am thinking online may be the best bet… unless you live in a big city or close by one.
Side note: Finding the exact file folders and hanging folders is the reason why this project took so long.
I cut the scrapbook paper a little so it would fit perfectly inside the front of the boxes.
My daughter insisted on getting her picture taken with the boxes. I think she liked them, what do you think?!?!
